These were the first Chicken Bus pictures I took in the town of Portobelo, Panama, on the Carribean coast. A great little town, we passed a dive shop enroute and I would love to return to dive there. The town had been a Spanish colonial trading port and had a good number of ruins, along with a church that was known because of its black crucifix.

The Object
Chicken buses are ubiquetous down here in central America. I have been to three countries and they all have chicken buses. I was standing at the train station in Colon, Panama, watching a number of buses fly by. I wanted one picture for memories sake. But I just couldn´t stop at one. Now there a several dozen photos and it will take some time to post them all. There are a couple of other websites about chicken buses and you can go ahead and google ¨chicken bus¨and see what you find.
P.S. I wanted to call this site just ¨chickenbus/blogspot.com¨but that was already taken, by some ivy leage dopes that quit blogging three years ago.
